What?? There isn't a member among them who know anything about warfare... You might as well call it the Jim Baker Opinion... I'll admit that in the beginning, the war seemed like the thing to do, but so did EVERYONE else in the world... That's a little fact that most people overlook!! We ALL saw all the evidence, MOST of the world agreed that it was the thing to do, yeah, I know, years later when it's a failure everyone forgets that, but whatever, it is what it is, and it's a mess...
It boils down to the people, the Iraqi people obviously have no desire to band together and fight these people... This would NEVER happen in America, we might have our differences, but we would, I believe, band together and fight no matter what! The Iraqis don't seem to want to. Well, there is the problem... I say stop spending money on trying to figure out how to get these worthless people who will not stand up for themselves out of the mess they are in... They would not be in this mess if they would just stand up for themselves... We've given them the chance, I say we give them an ultimatum...
You have 60 days to stand up for yourselves, bottom line, we will not allow Iran to take over your country. If within 60 days they have done nothing and the violence continues:
Let Saddam Hussein out of jail, buy him a new suit, apologize for his sons, and tell him, you are in charge again, get control of these barbarians by any means necessary. You have our full support, there is only one condition, you don't allow Iran to influence you and you allow us to have a base in your country so we can deal with Iran and Syria if we have to... Problem solved...

Yes, I agree. The tribal fighting that is going on in Iraq has been going on for hundreds of years. They have no vision for the future, and we're wasting our time over there now. AND wasting our money! We should take all the money we're spending on the Iraq war and use it to fight illegal immigration into the US!
That is an interesting idea, Matt.
Okay, so I had to create a "fake" blogger account so that I can finally post. . . now, let me go through the blogs and see if I can remember what I'd been wanting to comment. . .
Nevermind that idea. . . but from here forward, I can actually comment on other people's blogs. Hurrah!
LOL... Wonder what the issue was with your other account...
Umm, President Bush and Vice-President Cheney were elected by the people (as all Presidents/Vice-Presidents are)... As the Commander-in-Chief, the President has the entire Pentagon at his disposal... Just to refresh your memory on how things work...
I'll just remind everyone again (A lot of the leftists and America haters always conveniently forget this little FACT):
Everyone in the entire world (with few exceptions) agreed on this in the beginning...
Correct, they don't know anything about warfare... I was merely pointing out to you, since you mentioned it, that the President/Vice-President don't need to know about warfare, that's the Pentagon's job...
LOL... We could argue about this forever and never agree Titus...
Andy and I were listening to the radio on the way to TN about the Iraq study group. Andy noted how amazing it is that all these people claim to know so much about what is going on over there (on both sides of the fence), yet they have never BEEN there. Much of what was said was so far off base. I hope Andy will get the chance to blog and/or comment on these issues.
By the way, we aren't wasting our time over there. There is so much progress being made that NEVER makes it into the media. We need to stay over there and finish what we started. I say that knowing that my husband will probably have to go back in another year or so. I'm very proud of him and the things that were accomplished while he was there. :)
Oh yeah - and I hope Saddam gets whats coming to him... death.
