Yeah, I still have to spread out that pile of dirt there, but it rained for two days after I had it delivered... :( That's how my luck goes... I'm actually glad it did rain though, because my 'new' lawn definitely needed it...

LOL! They are FORBIDDEN from riding down the hill currently! :)
awesome!!! :)
We're trying to grow grass in our back yard. We have to have grass there before our move-out inspection and Hannah made sure that most of it was gone. Thankfully we've had some rain recently so I'm starting to see some buds. Woo hoo. (nothing like the rate your grass is growing though - wow!!).
LOL Petra! It's called TLC... :) I've reseeded it twice already and put lime down twice now, as well as dragging the sprinklers around... Not sure how the soil is there Petra, but perhaps a few bags of lime might help, I know this clay we have, if you put the lime down, it helps break the clay down so the grass will grow... Just a thought... :)
yay grass, so do you have that riding lawn mower yet :), speaking from experience of course.
LOL Timberly. No, I decided not to get it. I'm going to continue to let Cory cut my grass, he needs the money... :)
Plus, it means I don't have to fool with it! :)
Yeah, I seeded it again yesterday (2nd time) and we've been watering it with the sprinklers. But it is really dry here (in spite of the recent rain - I've actually never seen it this green since we moved here). I may try the lime. The soil is okay, but it's not top notch or anything. :)
I can't believe they make you have grass growing to pass the inspection...
I guess I should rephrase that, I believe it, I just can't imagine that's a policy they have... Wait, yeah, I guess I can... I work for a massive conglomerate myself, and the red tape and bureaucracy are stunning! :)
The grass looks really good! That will be a very nice front lawn soon!!
yeah, if there's any large bare spots, we have to have grass growing or we have to lay down sod. You remember the military, don't you??? LOL (actually they have privatized the housing, but it's not much different)
All too well! :)
Hopefully you get it growing in the bare spots then!
growing grass is a sensitive subject around our house :D we tried and failed :D
