Coupons!?! That's worse than when the boy finds out the secret code in A Christmas Story is "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine"!

LOL... I wasn't feeling very creative since I got up at 4AM today... :)

Liked the coupons though :)

LOL!!!!

Thanks Matt... I can add those to the drawer of expired coupons that I never use in my kitchen. :)

Um, okay, so I took another look at the coupons and I actually buy some of that stuff, so I am printing off several dollars worth to take to the grocery store with me tomorrow. :D

Matthew said...

Oops!! Okay Petra, you must shred the coupons immediately!!!

Sorry Tim!!

Matthew Goodling

If your name is NOT here, and you have served, it IS not intentional! :)

Oh my goodness! Please accept my SINCEREST apologies to Tim and also Kendra! I really don't know HOW on earth I could have forgotten Tim. Wow. I should be brought out to the streets and shot. Okay, maybe not that harsh...

but if it makes you feel any better Kendra - I went to the grocery store today and left my printed coupons sitting on my desk. So not only did I not save five bucks... I wasted ink and paper to boot!!!!! LOL :)

If you want to 'cheat' Petra... I ALWAYS leave my coupons at home, but the next time I go, I take them along with my receipt and they then give me my money back... :)

Petra said...

Yeah that sounds like WAY too much of a hassle! LOL

Matthew said...

LOL... I usually net about $25 each time, so it's worth the 5 minutes it takes... Of course Kroger always sends me $15 off if you spend $100 coupons, I usually get one for every week, then add the coupons on... So it's like $100 bucks a month for me for about 20 minutes worth of work... :)

So since it takes me about 2 minutes to gather them, and another 5 minutes to wait at customer service... Of course I'm a 'valued' Kroger customer since we rarely eat out and I spend a fortune there... I'll take the $100 back though... :)

Petra said...

Well, I'd wait in line for 5 minutes for $25, but probably not for $1.75. :) Yeah, I spend a fortune at the commissary and Wal-mart (we don't have Kroger here, but we have HEB and the only thing I buy there is produce b/c they are so expensive compared to Wally World and the commissary, but their produce is a million times better). Wow - that was probably way too much information about my grocery shopping habits. LOL

Matthew said...

LOL... Not to me you didn't...

Anyone can say anything to me though and I'll either happily debate them or admit if I'm wrong... :)

Yeah Kendra, I think I know you well enough to know when you are smiling. I think you have only yelled at me once and meant it (when I was filing for divorce - you were like "WOMAN!"... LOL - you know, you are one of the FEW that actually called me out on that one... others were like "well, your actions are justified..." - ugh.) :)
