Imperial Life in the Emerald City...

Looks like an interesting read, I'm going to order it I think...
"This revealing account of the postwar administration of Iraq, by a former Baghdad bureau chief for the Washington Post, focusses on life in the Green Zone, the American enclave in central Baghdad."
I'll let you know what I think of it...

Interesting. I wish I had more time to read. Do let us know what the guy has to say.

I don't take the time to read as much as I'd like to either (except online), I have a whole stack of books in my 'to read' pile at home though... :)

I did just finish "Are You Afraid of the Dark" by Sidney Sheldon last night, excellent book if you like his writing... The problem with me when reading a good book though is I started reading it night before last, and stayed up way too late both nights so I could finish it... :(

Well, guess I'll have to wait a few days... :( I just got back from the bookstore, but it is $25.95 there, yet only $15.57 online...

Looks interesting. I read a book by a guy who used to be one of the Commanders of Saddam's army. It was very interesting. He said all of the WMD's were taken to Syria on "commercial" airplanes.

The book is called; "Saddam's Secrets: How an Iraqi General Defied & Survived Saddam Hussein"

I have it if anyone wants to borrow it.

Sounds interesting Matt and Josh. I strictly stick to fiction reading when I am so busy though. I have to stuff so much reality in my head from work and school that I have to read something unreal at night. I did just finish a mystery short story book. It was London at Night. It gave historical background about the different detectives mystery writers have used in the past century then had a short story done by the different authors. A good author I have recently enjoyed is Jeffrey Archer. I read False Impression by him. A good read based on 9/11.

I got this book in the mail yesterday - ordered it from Amazon.

Haven't started reading it yet, but will let you know my official "review" soon.
