For some reason Darby didn't have a graduation this year - so strange. The 5th graders graduated but the Kindergarteners did not. The school sent out a letter with reasons, but I don't remember what they were - it was something stupid, I'm sure. :)
Weird, but some schools here didn't have Kindergarten graduations either, I think it all depended on what county you lived in... I guess the whole concept is a bit silly though, I mean how hard is it to actually complete Kindergarten? Of course I could be wrong, in this day and age, it wouldn't surprise me at all if some kids had to repeat it...
LOL. That's true. Our school said something like kindergarten is more academically based now than it used to be so they just consider it part of elementary school - so they don't graduate until the 5th grade.
Of course, to the 5th grade graduation, Andy liked the quote from 'The Incredibles' when their son was graduating from the 3rd to the 4th grade - "we just keep finding new ways to celebrate mediocrity" LOL :)
p.s. in case you wondered - I'm doing laundry while Andy has the kids swimming before we have to check out this morning. All the cleaning cloths and Jarvis' I-accidentally-fell-in-the-creek clothes were starting to smell up the van. :)
