Early Easter Egg Hunt...

We decided to hunt eggs this morning as LeRoy and Timberly and the kids stopped by on their way down to Walt Disney World...

About to get started...

Scouring the yard for the last remaining eggs...

The kids with their loot...

Of course my kids say that we have to have another hunt tomorrow because tomorrow is actually Easter... :)

Gorgeous day!! Shortly after the egg hunt, I finished all the soffits on the pool house, and with any luck will get up most of the siding tomorrow... We'll see how that works out of course, and the kids, or Chance and Taylor, took the first dip of the season in the pool...

Yeah, it took me a minute to type all that because I smashed the shit out of my finger with the hammer I was using... The head of the hammer looks like one of those meat tenderizers... Whatever... :)

So, who got the most???

Be careful with the hammer, Matt! They are dangerous!! :D LOL!!

I think Chance got the most, but they were more concerned about who got the most "dollar eggs"... :)

We always put dollar bills in some of the eggs, this year I think there were about 16. There is still one of them missing, so the kids have periodically gone back out "hunting"... So far, after the official egg hunt was over, there have been 9 more eggs found, but the 'dollar egg' is still at large... :)

Of course it could be that I miscounted and there were only 15... :) I don't actually stuff the eggs... I let the kids do it, the only thing I actually do is hide them, and I use the term hide there VERY loosely... More of a toss on the lawn sort of thing, covering the occasional one with a leaf or something... :) Timberly and I did it today though, but her mentality about 'hiding' the eggs is pretty much the same as mine... :)

Andy hides our eggs - only he actually HIDES them, and the kids are all "where are the last 40 eggs?!" :) I stuff them, and we have money eggs as well. We also have a few 'duds' full of Easter grass. :D
