I'm thinking of gutting half of the upstairs and redoing it...
Before...
After...The layout of this house sucks!! I am determined to correct it though, as best I can anyway... The first thing I will have to do though is gut the downstairs kitchen and redo it, because that will be Carolyn's kitchen for the few months it will take to do the upstairs... We'll see how that works out.

lol! I'm going to attempt to make it "quick and easy", I'll let you know how that works out... :)
It does look good - having your bathroom/closet solely a part of the master bedroom would be super nice (as would the spa tub)... oh, and having the extra wall/counter/cabinet space in the kitchen where the doorway currently is - awesome. Can't wait to see how it goes. :)
I agree! Right now our MS Bedroom/bath/closet is more like a communal area... :)
The extra cabinets, counters, etc in the kitchen will make a world of difference as well!
I intend to just gut it all down to the studs and start over, and I really think the hardest part will be gutting it. :)
