School Is Out!!

Friday was the last day of school, and the kids were ecstatic!! Tanner especially, he HATES school!! I took a few pics...

Of course this one has nothing to do with this post, but thought I'd share anyway. Taylor even will hold the snake, although that look kind of seems like: "Hurry up and take the picture so I can give this thing back to Chance!"

Tanner getting one of his awards, he did NOT get a perfect attendance award! :)

Tanner and Mr. Johnson, I really am glad he had a good teacher this year, his teacher was GREAT!

Taylor's class party for the end of the year...

Taylor again, obviously. They were both ready to be signed out as soon as the parties were over. I did not get a picture of Taylor and her teacher for some reason... Oh well...

Yes, that look on Taylor's face is "Okay, I'll hold it long enough to get the picture - but hurry up!!!" :-)...lol

I'm with Tanner - I never cared for school either. :-)

I hated school from the moment I started it! :)

So I suppose Tanner comes by it honestly...

Yeah for Tanner for the award. My kids did not get perfect attendance either :). The boys are happy it is summer too.

Add another one to the "always hated school" category. I tried going to college but only lasted one semester. I can't even begin to stress how much the word "hate" is accurate in my feelings towards school. lol.

Great photos!!! I don't go to the end-of-year parties? You guys seem really involved in the school stuff though.

Is Chance being homeschooled again next year? How did that go? I don't remember hearing lately.

NO MORE homeschooling!!!!! :)

lol!! I take it the homeschool thing was not the best?!?!

I neve minded the school part, but the actually learning part was not so fun! :D I'v thought about going for a Master's or something, but I just don't like being tested... and that is a problem if you want to get more education. :D

Glad to see the kids had a good time at their parties! :D

I don't really like the school/classroom thing either. I like learning but prefer to do it more on my one. School is just sort of a means to an end i.e. diploma equals more opportunities...

Yeah, it didn't work out AT ALL!!

We won't be doing that again!! :)

huh.. I remember telling both of you prior to starting the 'homeschooling' that it was a ridiculous idea. You guys should listen to the oracle more often...

Matthew said...

lol! Yeah, I feel for you Petra, can't you plug in an external keyboard?

Uh, yeah Titus, I don't recall that conversation... :)

Jackie said...

lol... apparently I married the "oracle" :D Good to know! :D

Yeah, I can get the copy/paste spaces thing to work 1/2 the time. My keyboard has a cord that won't fit anywhere on my laptop. I can use Andy's once we get to NC. :)

Why not get a USB keyboard Petra?

I've got one you can have when you get here if you are still having that issue! :)
