lol! I think you can 'subscibe' to blogs, or follow them, but not really sure how... I know that if you leave a comment, you can then check the "Email follow-up comments to" box and you will get notified when other comments are made... :)
If you go into the admin section for your blog, you can add a "follow" module to the right column, like I have on my blog: http://jgoodling.blogspot.com/.
That allows people to "follow" your blog, and will let them know via email each time your blog is updated.

We need to get a code for FB... when someone updates the blog! :D It's hard to check it all! :D
